Castelo de Proa was born from the authorial vision of Tatiana Nequete, a director, producer, screenwriter, and editor whose path has long been dedicated to cinema and television.
Today, that language expands with Luis Phelipe, an audiovisual producer and camera operator who brings together creation, set work, production, and post-production with the agility of live broadcasting and journalistic coverage.
From the first idea to the final cut.
Tatiana works where stories begin to take shape. From script development to directing on set, from production to editing, her gaze runs through the entire process and preserves the identity of each work until the final cut.
Luis brings the language of the moment to Castelo de Proa. His experience with camera work in journalistic environments, events, studios, and multicamera productions adds a direct, agile, and responsive approach, ready to find the image as it happens.
Tatiana builds the image before the camera turns on. Luis finds the image while the world is happening. At Castelo de Proa, these two perspectives complement one another and turn creative intent into precise execution.
Recognized stories.
Among the works produced by the company is O Oráculo das Borboletas Amarelas, a series entirely written and directed by Tatiana, recognized as Best Audiovisual Work at the comKids Prix Jeunesse Iberoamericano Festival in the 10 to 15 age category.
Castelo de Proa is currently finishing post-production and preparing the release of Sonhos de Velásquez, a feature film written and directed by Tatiana.
A trajectory before Castelo.
Castelo de Proa's identity was built upon a long trajectory. Tatiana holds a degree in Audiovisual Production and a master's degree in Social Communication, with an emphasis on cinema and contemporary audiovisual culture. Before fully committing to her own production company, she was a partner at Besouro Filmes for more than ten years, signing the direction, screenwriting, and editing of series, shorts, and feature films.
It was along that path that she made As Férias de Lord Lucas, her first work as a director and screenwriter, awarded in Brazil and abroad, including the Prix Jeunesse Iberoamericano, the Prix Jeunesse International Next Generation Prize, FICI, and the Mostra Internacional de Cinema de Vitória.
Luis holds a degree in Audiovisual Production and built his experience across live broadcasts, journalistic coverage, events, advertising, and multicamera productions. His work brings together ENG camera, studio, PTZ, photography, technical operation, and production logistics, skills guided by quick decision-making and the ability to work in dynamic environments.
A new way to move through stories.
Portal emerges from the meeting point between cinema, sound, technology, and on-the-ground experience. It is an original Castelo de Proa project that transforms cities into immersive audio narratives.
Tatiana leads the creative and narrative construction of the experience. Luis combines technological development with a perspective shaped by camera work, journalism, and operation in dynamic environments. Together, they bring Castelo de Proa's identity into the product: engaging stories, careful execution, and rigor in every detail.
Launching in Lisbon, Portal was conceived to go beyond a single city. It is an expanding project created to open new passages between people, places, and the stories that remain within them.
